Hope means taking your eyes off your circumstances and focusing your vision on the possibilities. Every dark night eventually gives way to the sun. And when we look to the SON, we become blind to the things that seem insurmountable.
It doesn’t mean that our worries disappear. it just means that the warrior in us appears! It means that we know where our strength comes from and that He promises us that when we are weak, He is strong. When we walk towards The SON, the shadows of fear fall behind us as long as we keep the Hope of Christ ahead of us.
There is never a hurt, a disappointment, a failure or any other circumstance that can take us to a place where the grace and hope of Jesus can’t reach us. When we feel hopeless, it’s the enemy’s way of getting us to look away from The Son. Why would we choose to listen to a liar if we can trust in The One who is The Way, The Truth and The Life!
