Life begins once Jesus is the reason you live it!
We all experience difficulties in life. The question is not how bad they are, but rather, how we approach these hurdles. We can either look at our circumstances and allow them to determine our future, or we can look to God and see His power in the midst of the storms of life. You see, by focusing on the waves, we lose sight of the One who has control over them. No matter how strong we are, life’s currents will drag us under, if we don’t have a Saviour.
Why would we choose to confront our giants, when we can have God there, right beside us. We can approach life like the Israelite army, that hid and cowered from the enemy. Well trained and confident in their own abilities, but when faced with an overwhelmingly big problem, they just couldn’t deal with it. Or we can take the “David Approach”. He was small, insignificant and not confident in his own abilities. What he was confident in, was his God.
So, the ball is in your court. Whatever your life looks like at the moment, you can choose to say that it is not how your story will end. And the way to do that, is to put your life and your problems in the hands of God. Jesus invites us to bring our problems to Him. When we do, we begin to approach life like Paul did. His motto was, “To live is Christ.” Everything we do here on Earth, is to glorify Him. So that when we die, it is gain, as we move into eternity with God.
My prayer for you today, is that you will seek Christ with all your heart, and know that you are loved. And no matter what life throws at you, God is there with you.
