Face the Wind

He who sends the storm, is walking with you, through it!

There are so many people around the world who are standing in the midst of a ferocious storm. A storm that seems impossible to navigate. When the winds get so strong that they threaten to blow us away, we tend to grow weary and just want to lie down. When we do that, we underestimate who we are. We underestimate who we have been created to be. And we underestimate the One who created us.

If we put our trust in God, He promises that He will never leave us or forsake us. That’s easy to believe when the sun is shining. But it takes faith to hold on to that promise, in the middle of life’s storms. It takes laser-like focus to not allow ourselves to be distracted by what is surrounding us. But instead, keep our eyes focused on Who is in us. When we truly know Christ, we can confidently say, like Paul, “To live is Christ… To die is gain.”

By standing up in the midst of the storm, we are showing the world that our faith in God is real. By being there to support others who are struggling to stay on their feet, we are being God’s hands and feet in a world that needs hope. And the only way we can do that, is if we have first hand experience of God’s provision for us during our own storms. So let’s get up, and walk head-on, into the storm. Let’s refuse to lie down and give up. Let’s put our money where our mouth is and begin to live our faith. And that example, will become contagious.

In the storms, wind, and waves, He whispers, “Fear not! I am with you!”

Have a wonderful day!
