So you think it’s luck that has added another day to your life? Maybe you are still young and you find it obvious that you were going to wake up this morning. Either way… you are wrong. Luck has nothing to do with the fact that you opened your eyes this morning. No day is guaranteed, no matter how young we are. Do yourself a favour and watch the video below and then keep on reading. It won’t only bring tears to your eyes, but it will also be an encouragement to realise what a precious gift life is.
Every breathe we take is a gift. And it’s a gift because of God’s love for us – that’s what is called “Grace”. Your alarm clock didn’t wake you up this morning, God’s grace did! He woke us up, longing that we will spend the day with Him. He woke us up for one of two reasons.
- Today is another opportunity for us to accept Jesus Christ, so that when the day comes that we don’t wake up in the morning, we will wake up in the presence of God.
- Today is another opportunity for every Christian to share God’s love with the world by being His hands and feet.
Every new sunrise is another opportunity to live a life of purpose. And the only way we can do that, is to realise how blessed we are to be alive. So let’s stop focusing on what we don’t have, and start realising what an absolute miracle life is. Let’s choose to live like there’s no tomorrow here on Earth. Chase your dreams and live the purpose that God has for you with abandon.
