Justice without love is not justice. Love without justice is not love. That’s why God the Father, is a God of justice and a God of love. Because God is holy, He cannot be in the presence of sin, and we are all sinners. Because of His justice that He couldn’t compromise on, He sent His Son to die out of love for us, that He couldn’t compromise on. Because He is a God of justice and a God of love.
As Christians, we are called to speak the truth, live the truth and represent the Truth. And that Truth is God. God calls us to speak up and stand up for the injustices of the world. But the motivation for doing so must always be Love. It must be motivated by the truth and Godly principles.
Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves. Ensure justice for those being crushed. Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless. And see that they get justice. (Proverbs 31:8)
But let justice roll on like a river. Righteousness like a never-failing stream. (Amos 5:24)
