One decision

See, I am doing a new thing. Now it springs up! Don’t you perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

Sometimes we’re forced to make a change. Instead of seeing those moments as a burden, embrace them as new opportunities. There are times when God steps in and closes current doors, so that we can step into the future He has for us. That’s because we are living a life that is not meant to be ours.

It wasn’t God’s plan for the Israelites to live in slavery, so He took them on an amazing adventure to the Promised Land. The only problem was that it took them 40 years to really trust God for the “New thing” He had in store for them. Although Saul lived a life of comfort and privilege, it wasn’t the life that God chose for him. And a new man, Paul, was born, because he chose to step into his destiny.

At this very moment, you might be facing life-changing decisions – like my family is. You might even be feeling overwhelmed by the occasion. But choosing a future based on the Godly impact you can have on the world, is always a wise choice. Don’t let your fears or comfort stand in the way of the difference that God plans for you to make in this world. A life of Godly purpose is far more exciting than a life of worldly pleasure.

If you want to fly for God, give up everything in this world that weighs you down. Have an amazing day!
