Always Reflect

The more reflective you are, the more effective you are!

Just because the majority believes it, doesn’t mean it’s the truth. Just because most people do it, doesn’t make it right. But it does make life easier when we accept the ways of the majority. It is a popular choice not to question motives, but simply follow like sheep.

Now I am the last person to suggest that we need to question authority. But when the authorities do things that shatter truth and obliviate common sense, there is a problem. When the motives of what is done, doesn’t come from a place of love, then we are following ineffective crowds. Everything that is done and considered authentic, needs to be based on values and morals. And I’m afraid to say that society is moving without true morals and values. When questioning popular decisions that are made where anything goes, we are labelled as “conservative” and “prudish”.

To be honest, I would rather be a prudish lion, than a foolish sheep. I would rather live my life, and make decisions, based on morals and values, than base them on popularity. God hasn’t blessed us with a life to impress others, He has called us to live His truth and reflect His love. If doing that makes me unpopular, then so be it. I am not answerable to any mortal that has breath in their lungs; I am answerable to the One True God who has given us this precious life to live.

Let your life be a reflection that points other back to God, not to the crowd.

Have a great day!
