When we are committed to something, it needs to be whole-hearted and without a backdoor. Even thinking that it’s going to fail means that you’re only committed as long as things go right. It means that you have the necessary desire to start, but lack the necessary commitment to finish.
You see, commitment is an action, not merely words or promises. We love plastering our commitment statements all over social media, yet fail to live them out. We love to put up quotes from the Bible, but fail to spend any time actually reading it. To be committed is not always easy because it means you continue doing what you set out to do, even when the mood to do it is no longer there. It’s about doing the right thing even when it’s difficult.
Most of us have not yet reached our potential, not because of a lack of desire, but because of lack of commitment. Whatever your calling is…
Decide… Commit… Succeed
Have an amazing day by not relying on what you are feeling, but on what you have been called to do!
