Our calling is simple – LOVE. It’s not our place to look down on those who aren’t as “perfect” as us. It’s not our place to focus on the mistakes of others. Aren’t we all just living in glass houses. It’s not our place to shout out the sins of others. Aren’t we allĀ silently struggling with your own issues.
We are ALL sinners and fall short of His glory. The fact that you and I have accepted that we are lost and need Jesus, doesn’t make us any better than those who don’t believe in Him. The fact that we are forgiven has nothing to do with our goodness, but everything to do with His. It’s got nothing to do with anything we have done, but everything to do with who He is. It’s got nothing to do with who we are, but everything to do with what He’s done. We are saved through God’s grace alone. Our salvation is not a licence to think we are better, but a call to love.
By simply loving others the way Jesus loves us, will reach far more people who don’t yet know Him, than we can imagine. God’s Spirit is the One who saves. All He is asking us to do is be faithful and loving. The day of judgement will come when those who refuse to accept Him will be separated from God forever. Until then, He is asking us to be His hands and feet and heart, in a broken world.
Have an amazing day filled with love.
