“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.” (Romans 12:2)
Whether you think that 2020 is going to be a good year… or a bad year, you’re right! The way we think about something determines the way we experience it. Whereas the world uses circumstances to determine happiness, we need to think differently. Whatever may be happening around us, our focus needs to remain on the cross – the Sacrifice paid for us out of love.
If Jesus loves me enough to die for me so that I can stand redeemed before the One and Only God, nothing else should be able to take away that joy and thankfulness that I feel. If we enter into this year with an attitude of thanksgiving for the things that we have, instead of one that complains about the things we want, then 2020 is going to be the year of all years, irrespective of things that might happen.
My prayer for us all is that we can realise that His Grace is indeed more than enough for us.
Have an awesome day.
