Mother Teresa once said, “One of the greatest diseases is to be nobody to anybody.” And that disease does not only affect society… it seriously affects us as individuals. So many of us are looking for purpose in our lives, trying everything and finding no answer.
The reason why society is searching is because individuals are unfulfilled. There is a gap in each of us that no amount of money or “success can fill. We were created to interact with others. Until we stop running after our own interests and start loving others, we will never stop searching. And if we don’t know how to do that, we just need to walk as Jesus did. Everything He did was out of love.
Begin with a ripple in one person’s life. With perseverance and a genuine love for others, it will soon build momentum and a wave of change will sweep over our school, workplace, uni, family, neighbourhood, town, city, state, country, continent and world. The change we want to see begins with the ripple you and I initiate.
