Unknown

I’m not sure about you, but there’s something about the unknown that excites me. I can’t think of anything more boring than knowing exactly where I’m going.. We would love to move closer to Covenant College. This is where Bev teaches and where the boys both attend school. Six weeks ago we had to give notice for the house we are currently renting. That 6 weeks ends on Friday. In 4 days time we need to be out, and we don’t yet have anywhere to go! It’s not due to a lack of effort on our side. Things just haven’t fallen into place for us.

Years ago a situation like this would have scared me spitless. But I’ve come to realise that it’s times like these that provide a platform for faith to grow. If things always worked out within our time frames, we wouldn’t need to put our faith into practise. Why worry? Worry won’t build a house for us. It will only break down our enthusiasm and allow our faith to dwindle away. God tells us on numerous occasions not to worry, so I go with that. I’m so looking forward to sharing in a few days how our trust in Our Father, has paid off. Will post the photos of the new house then.

If there’s anything that is freaking you out because you don’t know where it’s leading… trust God. He is the Way. We don’t need to know where life is taking us if we are walking with The One who is The Way. If He can keep the universe in place, then surely He is able to lift you out of the situation you find yourself in?

“God is with us. God is on our side.
He will make a way
Far above all we know. Far above all we hope.
He has done great things
Lifted up, He defeated the grave.
Raised to life, our God is able.
In His name we overcome.
For the Lord Our God is able.”

Have an amazing day!
